Gopro wall charger

I recently bought a Gopro3, which to my surprise only comes with a usb cable to charge off the computer. How fekin stupid is that?

Anyway, I discovered that iphone wall chargers (or any usb charger) are apparantly up to the task, however the charger I have is similar to this...

Can I charge the gopro using this or does it have to be one of those chunky cube type usb wall chargers.

I use whatever USB charger comes to hand, charging times will be affected by the output of it though.

Depends on the other hole.

Apple chargers are normally 1000 mAh whereas USB standard is 500 mAh. Both will charge your GoPro, but the Apple chargers will do it quicker.

My goPro gets charged with whatever is to hand - don't worry about it.

Another vote for, "use whatever is to hand". I've consistently charged all manner of devices (Go Pros) included off all manner of mains adaptors, computers, netbooks, consoles etc. namely anything with a female USB port in it.

The only 'problem' I've ever encountered is that the rate at which things charge varies dramatically and in some very rare cases, won't charge at all. I've never had anything blow up/catch fire/whatever.

Aside from the comp USB cable I plan to use it with the ipod charger & a small Hama cigarette adaptor on the bike so sounds like I wont have any trouble. Thanks for the info all
