Got me new bike today - well happy!!

Just got my new 1200GS today.....peed it down all day (typical) but still got some miles in. Really love it - just feels right, but got to get to grips with all the technology on the thing! Have already fitted my metal mules (from previous 1150SE); going to fit autocom tomorrow plus ancient Garmin Quest - connected it to the Garmin site and said I could have a map upgrade V8? - no mention of any charge; seems to be 'on its way' - didn't expect that !!!.

To be honest, I was a disbeliever in the 1200 (have previously had 1x1100; 2x1150; 1x1150Adv & 1x 1150A SE (yes I change bikes too bloody often), but I am seriously impressed with this thing (well as impressed as one can be after just 100 miles).

Rambling on........Saturday night.......beers to be drunk..........bollox to be spoke...hey ho .......and England got stuffed by the Jocks - RESULT! (Wales to win 6 nations - dead cert )

Nice one........... I hope the weather gets a little dryer so you can really see the differences between the 1150 and the 12, they are really miles apart on the riding side of things..............Enjoy

Yep you wont regret it..................The fun far outweighs the cost over the years.......I get a kick out of it every time I hit the highways.....there really is no match for the GS
