Made my way back to the world of GS with this little fella. Loving it so far. New engine so much nicer than the twin cam I had before, and not missing the bulk of the GSA I had.

No real issue with the gearbox as widely reported elsewhere... Maybe I just 'get it' cos I've had one before. It's a 2014 model on a 63 plate.

Ex demo bike from Williams, so should be well run in...Always a pleasure dealing with them :thumb2

Commiserations :comfort

Thank you. I thought of doing a how many hours count down, but couldn't find the right App.. ;)

Just need to go buy some waitrose finest virgin olive oil to top it up, but I'm afraid I will be mocked if I don't turn up with a full set of panniers.

But Don't you miss the presence of the GSA:D

Seriously , I'm addicted to my WC GSA , Enjoy your new bike . Top box all you need :thumby:

Or, for a cheaper, quality luggage option you can use from bike to bike, get a softbag large. Just 4 clips and its secure on the bike, and a piece of piss to take off. Massive capacity, fully waterproof, would be plenty enough capacity for most folk for a one up trip for a fortnight. Wish id bought one sooner, i cant fault it.

Easy to nick though

Yep agreed, the piece of piss to take off works both ways. If you're not going to be leaving the bag unattended on the bike , or are happy to unclip it if you do leave the bike, don't rule it out, its big, and a great design.

Oh i'm with you, soft luggage has it's merit and the only gripe with a bag on the back seat is having to 'hop' over the fecking saddle

Must prefer soft panniers

Wouldn't want to leave the bike unattended with that soft bag on it. Stopping at Motorway Services for a break becomes a fekkin nightmare.

I rigged up a cable tie on mine with a padlock :D different BM bag...

I use the bm roll bag across the back seat tied down with 2 rok straps, i use a cable tie on each buckle on the rok straps.

If they want to nick my skiddy pants there welcome .

Enjoy you bike, after 12 months I'm still loving mine.

I've added an Akra to mine, best farkle to date. Though the large softbag is great, just a shame it's slightly the wrong fit for the WC.
