I have one of those brackets. After looking at pretty much all the other options, that was my choice and I'm reasonably happy with it. I like the way it brings the GPS, a Garmin 276C, closer to my line of sight, it's vibration free and doesn't really cover too much of the tacho.
It does restrict positioning of the screen rearwards but I have not found it to be a problem setting the screen for my height, 185cms.
It's a little fiddly mounting it, read the instructions carefully before you start and be aware that the BMW fasteners will require a little more muscle than expected for their size, I think they are "loctited" into place.
Power to the GPS comes from the BMW GPS power connector, there is a thread on the forum describing how to tap into this connector without the use of the BMW connector.
Sorry, no pictures.

Brian.

Thank you,i have the Wunderlich Ergo screen,i hope it can go up to 2nd place !
i am 1.83 m. Don't need power plugs i think,so it should not be a problem.

If you can get some pictures from various angles, would be great .
MOreover, which part of the tachometer it covers ??

You put the gps in the middle ? Or as the picture shows,in the left side ???

I am getting the same GPS bracket but I am going to mount it on a crossbar. I am just waiting for the crossbar to be delivered then I will fit it. At least now you can mount it and move it left or right on the crossbar.

I had a look at the RAM mount and the other TT mounting systems and the crossbar idea is just more solid.

Cheers

i have npw this combination, but i cannot fit a tankbag,as i cannot see the gps !! (except the "daytrip" tankbag, which is really small)

That's why i am thinking of something other than this..

My bracket crosses the tacho at the 1500 and 7500 rpm marks which leaves it just above the speedo as I sit on the bike. I don't have a problem with having the tacho partially covered, I do need to see the speedo and I'm now familiar enough with the bike to have a fair idea of the revs that I'm riding at.
The GPS bracket is mounted to the left sitting pretty much directly above the speedo. This allows some view of the tacho and as I am used to looking down to the speedo, when the GPs is mounted my eyes fall upon it naturally and I can take in the speedo and GPS info in one glance.
At this point, there is still about 75% of the adjustment downwards still available. It would be possible to mount the GPS with the bar in its lowest position covering the speedo completely and rely solely on the GPS for speed. The tacho would be visible but the bar would interfere with viewing the info on the LCD screen.
I wasn't, at first, sure that I had bought the right bracket but as time has gone by, I'm quite pleased with the way it has worked out.

I should have mentioned this in my previous post but I have the BMW R1200GS tankbag. That was one reason I chose the bar rather than trying to mount the GPS on the handlebars. I had the GPS on the crossbar on a R1150GS Adventure but after having used the GPS on this bike, I much prefer the bar mount as I do not have to drop my sight down so far to see the GPS.
Frankly, I think you will appreciate the mount once you have used it for a little while. I really don't think that any of the other solutions would have worked very well for me.
I haven't done this yet, but another advantage of this bar is the capability to mount any other gadget that you might want to have quick and easy access to, i.e. a mobile phone, mp3 player or in my case, a small handheld UHF radio transciever.

Thank you.
Can you tell me in what position is the screen when it crosses the 1500-7500 revs ?
In the 2nd-3rd-4th position of the screen is it clear to see the instruments ??

Here is mine for a Garmin Quest unit. :thumb
Mounted on the optional TT cross bar - nice solid arrangement with the GPS up close for easy reading.
