My 660 arrived today but I'm struggling with the menu system. No surprise there.:blast

Can anyone tell me how to get GPS co-ordinates on the screen so I can use it off-road to do point to point navigation. I've had a look at the off-road navigation but it appears limited. All it gives me is a compass and a general heading.

So what am I doing wrong with this sophisticated piece of kit.

Is there something on the disc that changes some of the functions or have I bought an expensive white elephant.

My old street pilot III has a screen for it. Simple, but works well enough.

Thanks Greg but I was looking for GPS and compass on same screen. Looks like it can't do that unless you know better.

Maybe I'm expecting too much from a unit the costs £400. lol :D

You didn't say that!

Press and hold the green bars on the satellite signal indicator.

As with everything; 'The devil is in the detail'.:thumb2

I'm sure this unit will do more than the owners manual suggests.

Many thanks

Steve
