gps handlebar bracket 1150GSA

Interesting thread as I had been wondering about re-siting my GPS and had seen this on Nippy's site but listed for just about everything but the 1150GS/A. Of course the clock surround RAM mount would be best but its a bit more than I want to pay.

I have that type of mount on my Africa Twin - to be honest it's too low sat on the crossbar. It was originally for a 1200GS but with a couple of spacers it was put to much better use on the Twin :D

I've got the Migsel mount on the 1150GS - absolutely perfect positioning - yes it is relatively expensive for what it is - but I don't think there's anything better out there.

I got mine from a fellow inmate of this parish - might be worth posting a wanted ad?

Any particular reason you want a bar mount - take a look at the Migsel mount - it'll put your 278 in exactly the same position :thumb

Hi,

I have sent an e-mail to Michel from migsel.com and he told me:

Hello Tiago,

The mount is suitable for the 278. You can use the upper part of the
marine cradle and mount that with
* RAM short arm (RAM-B-201-A)
* 2 1/2" Diameter Base with 1" Ball (RAM-B-202)
* power / audio cable

The weight will make it move a bit more, but for on-road use that will
not be a problem.
For off-road use, I would not recommend it.

Best regards,
Michel

I ride off-road and in these days I need the gps...

Thanks!
