Does anyone know how to down load a waypoints .rxf file in to Mapsource for my Garmin Etrex

Just been on the Offroad site and down loaded a route

thought it would just open in my Mapsource no nope :-(

Any help out there?

Not sure what format a .rxf file is; I just had a look on the off road site and could not find it - it may be a Memory Map format.

I suspect that it is just a simple file of waypoints - longitude, latitude, name, etc. so they could be entered on to your GPS manually. There are probably a lot so you may not want to do this.

There is a program - gpsbabel - that you can download and install; the site is here:
http://gpsbabel.sourceforge.net/index.html

This will convert routes, waypoints, tracks, etc. between formats. You should be able to use this to convert to a format that you can import into Map Source.

A .rxf file is a Maptech Terrain Route file, they can be imported and exported into/from Memory Map and many other mappring programs (but not Mapsource) and as Mouse says GPS Utility can convert between most formats, including .rxf.
