Hi folks. I've got a Garmin GPS V and the Touratech setup. Running the V off batteries is somewhat of a non-starter, as it rather power hungry
. So I've got myself a power lead to the aux socket.
Has anyone successfully set all this up? There is a clever setup with two little metal plates and screws, holding the power supply going into the GPS in place. Last time I tried to set this up, I managed to break one of the pins in the power/data inlet, costing me £28 in repair through Garmin. Any ideas anyone???
