Just got one of these I-GatU gizmos off ebay £29.99 (now £44.99 :clap). A little smaller than a match box, self powered, logs where you've been, location, speed, etc etc. Just velcro'd mine behind the screen and away you go. Saves up to 20,000 waypoints. :thumb

Comes with all the software to up load to their site, you can also synchronise photos of your trip to their site.

Not an essential piece of kit but a bit of cheap fun :JB

Heres an example of my last ride out through Snowdonia. The 3D view is clever too.

Will come in handy in the summer for our Spanish trip.

GPS Data Logger

I thinking of getting a GPS Data Logger, but I want the data to overlay some nice info onto a video with the help of Dash Ware or similar software. Here is an example of what I’m after: http://youtu.be/sX9dFXG_OJQ
I know you can get video cameras with built in GPS, but you’re paying over the odds for them. Has anyone used a standalone GPS Data Logger, and if so how did you get on with it?
