I've had a bit of a problem with these guys all I wanted was a RAM Mount and a power cable for a Garmin 12:-

Ordered Mount and cable- delivered Mount Fine cable for BMW Socket but a Garmin 12 CX etc no regulator in the adapter different GPS connector so won't fit

Call and explain - Oh sorry we told you the wrong part return it and we will send the right lead.

New lead arrives, this won't fit the GPS or the bike. (12CX again with a lighter only adapter)

Call again- "ah we don't do a lead for GPS 12 you need the Garmin item (£30 there 12CX lead was £17)

Wandering around their site for some thing else last night and low and behold the right lead with the right connections on both ends £19.99 there own lead and in stock

Phoned this morning explain the whole lot again pointing out their part number "Oh yes do you want to change your order"

Lesson learnt - don't expext the operator to know what you want / need or even if they sell it! its not always obvious where anything is on the site.

The GPSW website is bloody awful to navigate. Their staff have, in my experience, been very helpful, though - maybe you just got the new trainee....

They were helpful full marks for that just did not get what i was after having described in detail what I wanted no problem correcting no argument

I think the knowledgeable staff are in great demand (probably dealing with visitors to the showroom) so you normally end up with the general staff with limited knowledge.

Took me a while to get a replacement thumb screw for my V and I ended up with various other parts before the thumb screw... all for free though so I can't complain.
