Hi,

I'm going to Morocco in April, and am thinking of spending a couple of days in Granada on the way back north.

Can anyone recommend a good/cheapish hotel with secure parking ?

Thanks.

Casper

Not sure about hotels but theyr'e all pretty good and cheap by English standards. However do make time to visit the Alhambra Palace as it really is one of the most impressive sights in Europe. We visited it many years ago and the memory is still vivid. Have a good trip!

One of the reasons for going there is actually Alhambra:-)

Hi,

I don't know what cheapest means to you :). Here you have a few options:

Alhambra Palace 4*. about 150€/night. incredible view over Granada from the rooms. It's 5 min walking far away from alhambra but 30 min from downtown.

AC Palacio de Santa Paula 5*. About 140€/night. a ancient convent rebuilded as hotel. It's on the heart of the city. 200m from the Catedral (must see) and 400m from Plaza nueva.

Hotel Triunfo Granada 3*. Not to far from Santa Paula. 70€/night. Confirm about Parking on this hotel. I don't remember it a public parking used by the hotel.

There is a great hotel offer in Granada, but many hotels doesn't own a parking. They share with public parkings. almost all the downton is closed to trafic, so I'll pickup one very near and go walking all the places you want to visit.

if you have any questions about places to visit, or you need more info about hotels, I lived almost a year.

Hotel in Granada

I recomend you this one: Hotel **** Alixares
It is right in front of the Alhambra and you have a save parkingspace for your bike.

Cheers and enjoy your ride !

excellent hotel

I have stayed there a few times and found Hotel Macia Gran Via 3 star and Macia Plaza 2 star just as good but smaller rooms. Both hotels are in an excellent position and gran Via has parking on the first floor accessed by car lift so its secure. I use Hotels.com to check out prices and I always get big discounts.
