so these graphics are going to cost £160 EXTRA on insurance - fucking joke

I wouldn't have mentioned it :augie

They look like the Givi crash bar bags... what do you think of them? Do you have any of the other Givi luggage for the LC?
They are very good apart from the waterproof covers are faded - badly... I also have a small givi bag under the rack for tools and the tank bag is a givi one with pocket for phone.. also powered with 3 usb sockets with the quick release

The car park doesn't really do the effect much justice, I'm worried now that my NN sticker will invalidate my insurance.

Insurance companies are wa..kers. Asked one last year, forget the name, about mods and was told I could have 3 at no extra cost. Told them I was thinking of bar risers, bigger screen, luggage, different seat, spot lights and they said the premium would rise. However the other 3 suggested mods.....boring the 1150 out to 1200, adding a turbo and nitrous only amounts to 3 mods and would not increase the premium.....????

Common sense when answering the "does the bike have any modifications" question should prevail.

Why would an insurance company need to know about bar risers, different footpegs, stickers, a cuddly toy on the handlebars, inner liners in your panniers or a tinted screen? They don't care about stuff like that, but if you're daft enough to mention it, of course they will put the premium up, as you're giving it to them on a plate.

Sports exhaust systems, power commanders, remaps (where detectable :D), and anything that will change the performance or dynamics of a bike is all they really want to know about.

When renewing the insurance on my F800GS just last week the nice young man at Principle Insurance asked about modifications. I started the list and he stopped me and said 'is any of it performance enhancing?'. When I said no he said 'don't worry about it then'. Even the Remus pipe is okay with them.
So unless they are really pedantic about it...don't tell them.

My GS was nicked and when it came to them paying out they(Principal) wouldn't cover any of! I'm talking panniers, crash bars and spots, so who knows when you are taking about the rest

Were the bars and spots dealer fitted?

Bars, Spots and Panniers all dealer fitted! Mine was a BMW used approved 6 weeks old and they gave me a massive amount of shit. Never again, will be bike insurance only companies from now on!!!! Couldn't care about 1-200 more a year.

We all think we aren't going to need to claim and well that is the only time it really matter and if they aren't good at doing that then what do you have for the sake of a couple hundred quid
