£ County Run

Hi Pete

As you say you're having a look at Thetford (Norfolk) this weekend you lucky bugger........!

I could add a big loop through South West Suffolk into Cambridgeshire if you want for the next run but it would be a long old day to do the 2 loops Mate!

I'm OK for the 20/21st too, I would enjoy helping the GS's through it all, sure they'll be fine if they have some nobbly tires on:thumb, but I'll be on the KTM.:D

Cheers
Ray

Hi guys
its uber wet in these parts(thetford) as it seems to not stopped raining since the last ride out
Hi all, I havent got a BM yet but I do have lots trails and a honda XR600 so i was wondering if anyone would like to come out greenlaning. The trails around here are very easy, very flat, and quite sandy in spots also very dry. There are about 70 miles of lanes around here.As for dates i was thinking Sunday 1st of November or the 8th November but am open to offers
nothing really hard just very deep puddles
I would be up for it if you come the Brandon way or can start off mildenhall rd.
i'll be on the xr 600 again the GSA is all tucked up and really doesn't have the right paddles on for this much water
i can do any weekend

Airheads have Michelin Deserts front and TKC 80 rear as michelin deserts no longer avalaible for 17'

But I was planning to use the HP2 on conti attacks
See you all on the 20th

thetford

Went round today you may well need water wings.big puddles and wet sand, some muddy holes but just about ok to ride on nobbly. might be ok on big bike but thats your call. if it stop raining and the sun comes out just wait and see.:augie:augie:augie:augie:augie:augie

Sorry

We can't make it sold my race truck this weekend :beerjug: and the chap will be picking it up on Sunday. :D we've done a deal for all the spare's so there's a days work loading:(

Brown slick ride ...

Think yourself fortunate, following Smokin Ray around TRF trails in very cold, wet conditions is a hobby for only the most dedicated. :mmmm

Ruts and mud was the order of the day. Many of the trails had been totalled by the 4wd brigade and my tyres resembled a potters wheel creation. Luckily the river bed run helped to clean off some of it (for while).

Hopefully it will dry out a little before the snow and ice arrive for next weeks run.

As allways, a pleasure to ride with Team Flatlanders,:bounce1

Regards Richard

No problem Richard, but like you I can't wait to get back to the sand at Thetford and away from that mud!
