I ve been reading a couple of 4 x 4 magazines , to find the best off roady type route to try and put mt GSA through its paces. I tried driving along the lees along the sea front ( grassy bit ) at south shields , but the local police seemed to take a dimmed few of this ..

after an apologie , and a bit of groveling :bow :toungincheek

The officer suggested i tried a couple 4x4 magazines and told me green lanes and byways were the way to go ! :blast

If anyone knows any good spots / Routes local to me ,please let me know as i dont want to get into anymore trouble....:angel

thanks in advance

i know one or two but some of the local lads can ride from durham to appleby it seems off road!!! and they are not shown on the definitive map (but not illegal)

Hello, If you search for Adv Riders in facebook, they are a bunch from Weardale who are organising a big on and offroad day out on the 7th of July. Camping and a band after at The Weardale Inn. All for £12. It will be GS friendly.

Cheers

Jeff
