Much as I'd love to join you all, I think I'll have to miss this one . The DR's in bits, and then there's the small matter of the ton and a half of firewood that'll be blocking the driveway on Saturday morning .

Also, if you're interested, there's an Ipswich/Woodbridge run being planned for 27th December, over on The Rev Counter. I've got a rough idea of the lanes and I'm thinking of going over for a play sometime before then, 'coz Christmas is just too far away

Ray's bought a KTM 250EXC-F

Does everyone in Suffolk know that Ray's bought a KTM? Keith at MCT was telling me about that this morning, as well!

Just in case you hadn't heard ......!!!!!

Right, I am supposed to be picking it up on Friday from Jim Aim's at Sible Hedingham and assuming they've got the Road Tax etc for me, I'll be there for my first run on it!

Can I leave my trailer at your house Noddy and what time shall I be there ?

I live at Rattlesden (near Woolpit) so not a million miles from you at Wattisham and I plan to be taking my bike & trailer to Grahams for the run out too.

AdamA - Was thinking of copying your route from a few weeks ago around the forest.....couple of questions:

Is it easy enough to follow with an ordnance survey?

Will an Enduro ready 450X be suitable (race ready with no indicators and tiny numberplate) or does the area attract police attention or involve alot of road?

Yes, yes and not particularly.
The route is mostly BOATs with the odd UCR (ORPA on the OS map).

I ride a 450EXC with no indicators(not a legal requirement) and flexi plate. Never had a problem over the plate despite it mostly being covered in mud.

Most of the police are busy tucking into Subway at Thetford.

Just fired up 'ol smokey for the first time since June. Judging by the way the sun was blotted out within 2 minutes and the neighbours came round to complain about the noise, I think it's a case of 'off with his head' before I venture out again.

I did think about bringing the sidecar outfit, but I think it would hold the group up too much at this time of year. Maybe I'll fetch it up when the weather is a bit drier and a smaller group. Possibly a Friday run?
