Hi Guys
Does anybody know if you can download green lanes to a TomTom Rider 2. A friend of a friends has some kind of GPS device on his wrist that he has downloaded all the legal green lanes onto.

Try asking in the GPS forum, theres a section for the TT Rider. This bits for 1200 technical threads :thumb

I used to 4x4 green lane with a TomTom, its possible.

The TomTom has nearly all the legal green lanes in the map but they appear as a dotted line rather than a solid one. A quick peek at somewhere like Clumber Park near worksop will give you the idea.

I would think its very hard to make a itinerary to cover these as occasionally there were lanes missed off but on the whole I would say around 90% were covered when I was green laning 3/4 years ago.

Go to Tomtom home and then go to the POI's. It has a few sections to download of greenlanes I have them on my 510 don't know how well they work as i use my Garmin 60csx for that stuff. They will work on the Tomtom rider as both units use the GO software

Have you asked your friend to ask his friend how/where he downloaded them from?
