Hello all.
This is my first post here. I am in Atlanta, Georgia USA.
I ride a 2005 1150GS ADV. By far the best bike I have owned.
Just wanted to throw a friendly hello to all, and hope to chat soon again.

Be safe, and ride. :beerjug:

Just an old sweet song keeps Georgia on my mind.

That was too much wasnt it.

Hi By-tor,

greetings to you good sir.

Now then what's it like being a beemer rider in the land of hogs?

Do they treat you like a biker or do they consider you to be lower than the rice burner riders over there?

Regards

I can say that I do not see any other bikes like mine.
Of course, the Harley guys dont bother to wave, but I'll just sling some mud all over thier pretty little bikes.

I strive to be different here. Few people here even know what the WRC rally is. Over here it is all NASCAR. (if you like that sort of thing)

It is 08:00 here, so I better get to work.
Talk soon to ya!

Greetings oh septic friend.

Nice song this, by Bad Company:

Same old place, same Old City, What can I do, I'm falling in love,
I'm just an old hound dog, Roaming around, oh lord,
I got all this and heaven above, Oh, Atlanta, hear me calling,

I'm coming back to you one fine day, No need to worry, there ain't no hurry, 'Cause I'm, on my way back to Georgia, On my way
back to Georgia.

I get a feeling when I remember, All the crazy days and
crazy nights, Country music playing, You must have heard
them saying, They're going to whip it up, And light up the lights

Oh, Atlanta, hear me calling, I'm coming back to you one fine day
No need to worry, there ain't no hurry, 'Cause I'm, on my way back to Georgia, On my way back to Georgia.

Same old place, it's the same old city, What can I do,
I'm falling in love, I'm just an old hound dog, Roaming around,
oh lord, I got all this and heaven above

Oh, Atlanta, hear me calling,
I'm coming back to you one
fine day,
No need to worry, there ain't no hurry,
'Cause I'm, well, Atlanta hear me calling,
I'm coming back to you one fine
day,
No need to worry, no need to hurry, 'Cause I'm, on my way back to Georgia,
On my way back to Georgia,
On my way back to Georgia,
On my way back to Georgia,
On my way back to Georgia,
On my way, on my way,
n my way back to Georgia,
Oh yeah, oh yeah,
Georgia on my mind,
On my way back to Georgia
Yes I'm on my way, yeah.

Hi Dahoum,

thanks for that info, a mate of mine plays in a group called The M6
Breakdown Band and he does a cover of the tune.

I always wondered who did the original!
