P.S, after seeing the news about the tunnel this morning I might go a different way.

Should be alright on the tunnel Stever1. I'm booked on a train on the 29th and not too concerned. Even when STACK is in operation, it can be avoided and the troubles don't appear to be troubling bikers. There is some good info for alternative routes on here by Giles and others. Leave a bit of extra time and seems like it should be fine.

Plus me and the other half for the 29th on euro tunnel ,2ish I think ,
Heading reims .b500.alpinestrase.gloscocker,
To say I'm excited really is an understatement I can't sleep past five in the morning .
I'm like a bloody kid at Xmas .:thumb2

I'm on the 11:20 but will try for an earlier train. Like you, getting like a kid at Xmas. Usually go on tour at the end of June so I'm getting withdrawal symptoms now too! lol

In the end i booked onto NSF Hull to Europort on the 28th. Don't want to waste any time getting caught up in troubles at the tunnel.
