GS AD gearbox/ clutch?.

Hi All, tested GS1150 AD the other day, to get first gear had to push down and slighty relase clutch to get 1st gear ,is this normal? ta Ian BTW re last post dual seat low is 40mm lower than standard,am trying one tuesday.
