GS Colours

Where can I find some decent pictures of 1150GS's.

I have just brought a Metalic Silver tank with a couple of dents in it. I plan on getting the dents taken out and resprayed the same colour. I will also change the colour of my Blue tail piece and beak as well.

So I'm looking for some decent piccys and info on colour codes as well to pass onto my Cypriot sprayer.

Try Google, click the images tab at the top of the screen and type R1150 GS, hey presto...

Why use pictures. Just get BMW paint codes and use those.

Whats the paint code for the metallic silver colour. It's a light silver rather than a dark silver if that makes sense.

If you are talking about Titanium Silver, then it's BMW paint code 354

You've got to be a bit careful re-spraying a BMW with a different colour.
All the bikes are apparently tested before leaving the factory, the colours are allocated depending on the power output,hence the most powerful are given black tanks,the least powerful, silver tanks.
If you change the colour , a future owner could be disappointed because he may not be buying the power output the tank colour represents!
