Stand astride your 1200/1250GS and look straight down at the foot pegs - are both the left and right pegs exactly at 90 degrees to the centre line of the bike? or are they noticeably 'wonkey'?

This question is for the GS not the GSA, however if anyone with a GSA notices any 'wonkey-ness' I would be interested to hear.

Just glanced as I walked past it in the garage and the pegs do appear to be very slightly angled back, or to use the correct engineering term they’re on the scunt by a gnat’s cock :nod

my left one is almost perpendicular to the centre line but the R.H.S one is angled back by a few degrees, hmmmmmm

Have you noticed your cylinders don't line up when viewed from above also?

Yeah but I fixed that with a large sledge hammer, runs a bit rough but at least they are now straight like they are supposed to be.

I think if you check you'll find one of your legs is shorter than the other too. Maybe the germans put their wonky pegs on with this in mind....

One of my legs was shorter than the other but I had it fixed by having a new hip put in.
