GS going up in Value?

Just sorted my insurance for another year, £100 less, and added pillion & commuting which it did not have before

Was checking Autotrader to see what the values were, they look like they have gone up!

I paid £6.1k for my 56 plate 12GS from a BMW dealer, which came with warranty, just been serviced and 2 brand new tyres.... there are ones listed that are 2 years older going for the same money!?

But this time last year, AT had loads of examples sub £6k some even sub £5k

Which was deep into the recession where the people selling actually wanted them to sell, as opposed to now where people are speculating, perhaps. I've seen other makes being advertised for silly prices too - it doesn't seem to be just GS related.

I did buy at the end of the year too, so guess that had an effect.

Anyway I'm a happy bunny, GS is proving to be better than a savings account
