Well done John

It would be good to hear your comments on the rebuild

I hope you get your money (back)............just stick out until you do and do not sell it at a "silly" price.

Good Bikes are now more difficult to find.....it may take a few months.....and you need to market it properly ......as there are buyers out there for good Bikes

Interesting R80R or R100R exhaust on the Bike when bought - how was it?

Have you "dumped" the Fornales shock?

HI Bill, sold the shock a while a go to a guy on the forum. Will only sell the PD for the right money, need to fund my next re-build project, R100 Rs, I know you have a std Mint RS but I enjoy the challenge of the re-build and it keeps me out the "PUB":comfort

You just missed a MotorSport that needed some work - I think that it went for £1,400

The early first series R100RS is really good - the light metallic Blue ones with spokes (wheels) and two light blue pin stripes on each wheel - I would go for that model if I bought another - they are not that great to ride on short journeys - the weight is "low down" but they really go well on open roads and are "land mark" Bikes

RS Restoration - the paintwork is very expensive!

This is the one which I think belonged to "Eng" on this Forum - nearly did a swop for a PD I had but we could never agree the "numbers"

(nearly got my K1 - although I am supposed to be "cutting back" and will not be popular with my wife)

Cheers

I've got a genuine sport seat for one of those ;)

Mines the gold one but needs a repaint.

Your bikes looking great there Joe and I've got to say it - thats a lovely lady you have there as well :thumb2

Thanks Rob, if I don't sell the PD, it will be best offers for the wife:augie:augie.

( I can always get another wife, but PD's are hard to find!!!)

Your wife and some cash should get you a decent monolever ( even harder than a para to get hold of !!) :D

That is a nice PD you have there...should certainly create a lot of interest if she comes up for sale:thumb2

That is the most sensible comment I have seen on this site all year.

Strangely enough I have a Monolever that I may be tempted to part with...Does this wife of yours cook and clean to a satisfactory standard?

Let me put it to you this way, we've been married for 16 months my house as never been so clean and I've put 2 stone on:rob
