The guy who will re-spray my bike said he can the pattern correct if I can give him photos of the fuel tank. Rob farmer kindly agreed to let me take some dimensions off his bike, however it would be easier for me to give the guy photos so he can scale them.

I need side of tank and a couple of good ones of the top of the tank so he can get the strips correct.

Thanks guys.

Almost identical to mine. I think the white 'crash bars', the other bars and the hand protectors looks far better in white than my red 'uns. Much to bitty. What sort of fork brace is that? Home made? Can you show us?

Home made

Bought it from http://www.boxxerparts.de/xtcshop/index.php?XTCsid=9273c00e699cdcfa35410d4fe46df2cd

Stainless steel and very VERY rigid:bounce1

Remember, mine is a G/Spd conversion so you'd need to order a Para gspd version. I think they are about £80 ( BMW OE jobbie is about £110 and crap compared to it...that is if you can get an OE one).

I'm with you. Mine has vertical tapped holes at the top of the sliders whereas yours are horizontal and further down the sliders. Thanks for the tip. I've seen the San Jose brace but it's rough cast and although it may well be effective enough, I think machined alloy or S/S is the way to go.

Spoken to my re-sprayer friend, I need just one more good photo taken of the top of the tank, showing where the strips is to go... thank for your help..

Kenny's bikes a Mono in disguise so has the appalling Mono front end. If he'd had enough money he could have bought a Proper Paralever PD :D

You tell him Proff :bounce1 (these youngsters eh? )

Valker...collecting my g/spd from Verns probably Tuesday/Wednesday...so I'll get you a photo then :thumb2
Nice one Ken, Thanks very much for your help.

My, how nice to log on and find no pettiness or moaning...all is well again in the airhead section !!!:)

Anyway, got my g/spd back home....and Joe, here are the pics I think you wanted :thumb2

Then a late afternoon call results in another g/s brought home :bounce1

Three tons of stainless bolts later, both bikes carbs balanced and I'm a happy chappy:bounce1
