GS Servicing in the Bristol/SW area

Hi,

Looking to get my 1200 GSA serviced soon, and am not too bothered whether it goes to a BuMW Francise, or to a good independant - just want a decent service for the 'bike, and decent service from the garage

Can anyone recommend such a venue (does one exist?) - am happy to travel, etc, etc... have heard good things about Ocean in Plymouth - any other suggestions greatfully recieved.

p.s. Bristol based, but not very impressed with the Bristol Motorrad franchise....

C.W Dorchester excellant service and people, the nothing is to much trouble type. I find the 200 mile round trip is well worth it, (having tryed others closer and not impressed).

I can personally testify to Mike being absolutely top class. He services me and the missus's bikes and is spot on. He picked up on a number of things that other mechanics just wouldnt bother to mention or worse, wouldnt even notice. He is reasonably priced and knows GS's inside out, not to mention also working on other bikes too. He knows us well; James and Nodeen from Bristol with the 1150GSA and F650GS.

Also spoke with Cardiff Mike - seems very good - just Stroud is closer/easier for me.

I had my last service at Cotswold, Cole Avenue, Gloucester. They noticed suspension fixing bush had worn and replaced it all and the swing arm under warranty, no questions asked. I can't complain so far
