The BMW GS Trophy will now be an integral part of the Touratech Travel Event this year.

It's going to be run on the Sunday, so there's still the chance to try out our sampler on the Saturday just to get your eye in, then if you've registered for the Trophy, to go for it on the Sunday. Just don't have too much liquid fun on the Saturday night!

Bit more about the Travel Event weekend.

Sign up for the GS Trophy and the Travel Event is included in the 50 quid apparently.

Just had confirmation, we've got Sam Manicom speaking, Grant from Horizons doing his thing, there's Walter Colbach from Sibersky, Scooter to the Sahara guy Dennis, and hopefully a couple more yet to confirm, plus Joe Stather coming over from Germany, on a special Tiger, bringing his haute cuisine on a camp stove skills, we have a first on scene demo, how to snare a rabbit with your shoe lace and other survival tips from Sean Murray (no questions, don't ask), a guy promising to show how to stand a Ural on one wheel, Welsh Air Ambulance (probably coming because of the guy trying to stand the Ural on one wheel) and some other bits and bobs. I think I may even have a human fruit machine from the local Co-Op.

We've got some suppliers coming along to show you their goodies, Garmin will have someone there to answer your GPS questions for instance.

Entertainment supplied by the unique adventure gurus that are Ewan and thingy...and our own Touratech Troubadour bluesing up round the camp fire.

Better catering and toilets this year too.

Now trying to get a local brewery I've found, to come up with a sampling session, so must dash, there's alcohol to sort out.
