G'day fella's,
I have been going through a lot of the threads regarding people replacing their standard pegs.
When I purchased my 99 R1100GS in July of 04 it had a set of lowered foot peg brackets with the initial "VM" on them, they felt fairly comfy but as I live in area with a lot of bends, I kept grinding them out and eventually I put a crack in my LHS foot peg carrier when I ground them out into a dip in the road.
I have seen a few people recommending Pan European pegs or ST1100's as we call them in OZ or pegs of a R100GS. I would like to keep the peg level with the the hinge joint itself. Is there much modifying to fit these pegs ?.
