GS1200 Adventure Bars

Is anyone able to post any pics of the standard bars on a 2008 model R1200GSA, the bars on my 2011 model are too low and the bend is totally wrong for me putting too much strain on my wrists despite having tried 40mm risers.

The parts lists show a different part number for the bars from 2008 model with the 28.5mm diameter bars fitted and apparently the earlier bars are higher with a different bend.

Shots from the riders seat of the height and relative psoition to seat would be appreciated.

I've looked at the F800GS ones which appear taller and narrower and they might be the answer if the Handguards will fit if not it may be Renthal Fatbars with the trials bend.

Yes thanksthe bars look to be higher with a different bend a staight on shot from the back of the bike would really help .

Closest I have in "stock" (shhh, it's changed colour ):

I am taking it in for a service in the morning tho so will try and remember to take some shots if nobody else does the deed between now and then...

If it helps they are lower and further back than the earlier (2006/7) GSA bars with the cross brace...
