GS1200 Best Seller of 2006

Funny how up here in the land of heavenly gravel roads (Finland, that is...) bike markets are a bit different: last year's most sold over 125cc bike was Kawa ER-6 followed by Honda CBR1100XX and Yamaha FJR1300. In top 20 there are no allroad bikes at all and not a single BMW model.

Most sold "brand names" (excuse my bad English) were 4 Japs (Ho-Ya-Su-Ka) followed by H-D, KTM and BMW at 7th place together with Triumph (3,8% share each while Honda had 23,1%).

So instead of being "everyman's bike" 1200GSA is more like an odd freak...

Excuse me...............a bike is only common when somebody else has one............when you have it................its called popular......lol

Ah, the good old "popular vs populist" argument!

I also have a 1200GS and a Focus. Almost a pattern emerging here...
