GS1200 MODEL IN DIE CAST BY MINICHAMPS

I read somewhere that someone was finding it difficult to find one of the superb 1/10 die cast models of the R1200GS by Minichamps. These models are probably the most detailed scale models made by anyone..anywhere and look stunning.
I located a seller from the US. He is selling on ebay (link below) I had to order one. I'm not entirely sure why as I will have the real thing sat in my garage in November, but I suppose its because I know that Minichamps only make these for a limited period and then that's it, there finished and very hard to find ever again. As the dollar rate is still very good against the pound at the moment, these work out about £62 delivered to the UK. I have seen them elsewhere for £100. They are well packed in a polystyrene box so travel OK. It looks a treat. If you you were looking for one, here's the man. He currently is listing five for sale in red. He also has a load of other BMW bike models.

You can buy a great scale model from BMW for far less than that which has brilliant detail. Did you check that out first or al all ?

Hmm - still about time someone did on '08 as all of them so far are '04-'07 or GSA variants

Hi, Thanks - The only other I was aware of was the 1/12 model of the GSA which you can get in lots of places for £10-15. More of a toy than a collectors model. If BMW were selling the Minichamps model, they dont have any left now that I can find.
