Hi, l would like to know whether any of you with a GSA 1200 has additional outer luggage bags on top of the original panniers and how you attach them.

I have been thinking of getting either the ortlieb (kind of sailing bags and therefore waterproof) or getting the touratech additional bags for the original GS (not GSA...) panniers (http://www.touratech.com/shops/008/...=4991&osCsid=0f9a7eef8e903b1089ffcd33fbb65ba0).

Extra luggage is desperately needed when on hols with the girlfriend... :)

Thanks

These work OK for the 1200GSA with the standard BuMW ally panniers:

It's a 650 in the picture but the panniers are pretty similar in size.

Depends on how big you want them? They will need a plastic bag inside.

If not, a smallish Ortlieb bag will do. Or a similar (cheaper) non-waterproof one, with a bin bag. Strapped on with....um...um....straps, I guess?
