I need to get a low seat for GSA (to be delivered shortly!). I have searched (and searched) and it seems to come down to either the extra low BMW GS seat, Sargent extra low seat, Touratech extra low seat.

I tried the extra low OEM seat on a demo bike but was having so much fun that I really didn't notice any lack of comfort and I could get the balls of my feet on the ground. I have read mixed reviews about the Touratech seat, too narrow at the front? The Sargent seat is a good bit more expensive, is it that much better?

I am 5'9" and 12 stone, 30" inseam.

I know this question has been asked on a number of occasions but I'm hoping that some of the people who asked the question now have more up to date feedback...

well ishom,
I am 5'8 29 inside leg, and around 85kilos,

I have the BWM Low seat, dont notice any major discomfort, even on a 300 miles, 1 sitting dash through europe, just stood up once in a while to stretch,

handling wise, i have ridden the bike all over, in london, M way, Autobahn and x-country, no major dramas

Done 9k on the standard BMW low seat. Takes a couple of thou but break it (or maybe my arse) in, but it's grand.

Std 12 low seat works for me on my ADV12, It takes a while to bed in as the shape taper at the rear feels a bit strange for a time?.
it is the cheapest option as Std 12 shocks are a bit dearer !
