GSA battery conditioner

I currently use a CSI Airflow charger / conditioner on my Fireblade & car but looking at the GS handbook it say's a non BMW charger will damage the electrics ???
Can I still use the CSI in the accesory socket ? Direct to the battery ?
Or bite the bullit & buy a BMW charger ?

Any advice greatly appreciated

I use my Optimate connected via a plug direct to the battery and have experienced no problems over the last year.......I was advised to not use the accessory socket though unless using a BMW charger so I figured better safe than sorry. It was easy enough to wire a small plug direct to the battery and then when not being used to charge the battery the plug can be used to power other things when on the move

Direct across the battery only, DON'T use the bikes sockets, the Canbus system needs an expensive Bmw type charger.
