On my 1150 GSA both tyres are on the ground when the bike's on its centre stand.

The front & rear shocks are standard Adventure ones.

Does this suggest that the stand is a GS (non Adventure) one..?

My theory is that the previous owner had different (lower) shocks on, and changed the stand...

From the centre of the main-stand hinge bolt, to the foot is fourteen inches. Get your tape measure out.

If yours is the same length, possibly the paralever arm has not been pre-loaded after being stripped down and the 'resting' position is too low. :nenau
