He ladies and gents,

Just took delivery of a new GSA LC, I've ordered a top box and removed the pannier rails as I only ride solo. Has anyone had any joy with a tank bag for theirs yet?

The motorrad website is only showing the 2013 GSA, which I'm guessing is slightly, but significantly different.

Do BMW do one, or anyone else for that matter, if you've got a picture then even better.

PS I got the white one. I heard they were quite a bit quicker

Cheers,

Phooey.

That is about the most horrible thing i have seen on the new GSA ( IMHO) Tet a WOLFMAN from Winding Roads.......Cheaper and better looking

Thanks MMM, mine didn't know if they made one for the new bike :D

And thanks Richie, for the advice, I'll check it out.

Cheers.

Didn't know it fitted the GSA WC, I've got one, looks good in real life, tried not to use a tank bag on the WC as I like the aesthetic look from the drivers point if view, but really nice bag, quick to unclip to fuel up too..
Wanted a bagz connection but this was easier to buy..

The BMW bag marks the paintwork and the one on my old 2009 model wasn't particularly stable loaded up.

I bought a Bag Connection tankbag for my new bike. It clips on and off in seconds, doesn't touch the paintwork and was very easy to buy - a few clicks at www.bykebitz.co.uk ;)

They all mark the paint work if you dont take care, or precautions to minimalise this.

My tankbag doesn't touch the tank - it has a rigid base and clears the paint by about 5mm. The larger one I had on my K1200S used to touch occasionally if very heavily loaded on tour, but then I just used some rubber webbing sheet. In day-to-day use there was no contact.

It will touch the tank if you miss when droppin it onto the lockin ring tho wont it! Thats what I meant about takin care, I used to have a givi tank bag with the lockin ring, I was always concious of the bag or lockin mechanism touchin the tank, but in all honesty what a pita that was, your better off usin some venture shield vinyl or somat similar on the paintwork, an then use wotever tank bag you like!
