ANYONE HELP ?
I HAVE JUST FITTED THE REPLACEMENT LED TAIL LIGHT PANEL ON MY GS1150 ADV' ONE THAT WAS PURCHASED NEW FROM MOTORWORKS, WHEN I START THE BIKE UP THE WARNING TRIANGLE STAYS LIT UP ON THE DASH WARNING OF BULB FAILURE, REMOVED PANEL n REPLACE WITH ORIGINAL BULB n LIGHT GOES OUT,ALL OK, SO THIS PANEL IS EITHER NOT CORRECT OR UNABLE TO OVERIDE THE WARNING, ANYONE HELP OR HAD SIMILAR PROBLEM, THE PANEL DOES STATE FOR ABS MODEL WHICH MY BIKE IS.

Firstly, please stop shouting, we can hear you easily.
Secondly, they all do that.

The warning light staying on permanently indicates an open circuit on the brake light circuit (ie the bulb has blown). The LED you have put in has a much higher resistance than the original bulb so the test system thinks the bulb has blown.

The solutions are to do nothing and ignore the light (you'll probably need to replace the original bulb for the MOT), or to put a resistor in parallel with the LED to restore the original resistance and then the light will go out.

Personally, I just ignore it, but there is no MOT for bikes here.

Thanks guys, think I will get the resistors to fix the fault.

The LED panel has no adjustment for different models, it states for 1100 / 1150 // with or without ABS.
