Just a quickie - I've got the pannier mountings etc off while I apply a bit of paint to the frame tubes. Noticed that the LH 'T' shaped clamp (the bit that clamps to the pillion footrest hanger) appears slightly bent - i.e. It's not a true 90 degree T like the RH one. Is it meant to be like that? I'm assuming it's because of the kick in the pannier mount to accommodate the exhaust, but can someone confirm?

Mines at an angle so it appears they are meant to be that way :-)

Yep, same here, as you say, it's because the lower part of the pannier frame on the LHS is further from the bike to clear the exhaust.

Thanks both - I was a bit concerned as I had a lot of new parts fitted on the LHS (including the pannier mounts) after being knocked off my bike in March. For a moment I thought it might be a sign of further damage/misalignment. All back together now anyway :-)
