Am I right in assuming the rear wheel bolts on a 1200 GSA are Torx T50 ?

yep torx 50 is correct

Halfords sell GSA rear wheel bolts now???

Machine Mart do a nice little set of male and female torx sockets in 3/8" drive for not much more than a single socket at Halfrauds!
I had one, thought it would be crap at the money but have used it for servicing the bike and all sorts of tinkering for a couple of years (At least 4 services) and all's good.
Even purchased a second set as part of my 'touring tool kit'
Worth a look.
