Doing a spring(ish) clean on the bike. Seems to have done quite well over the winter.

However, when I've set about cleaning the rear spoked wheel I've noticed some pitting. I originally thought it could stubborn brake dust, etc., so gave it a once over with degreaser and still no joy.

Anybody come across this before?

Me too. But more like glued on dust than pitting. Not mentioned it to the dealer yet but going in for a 12K service soon and shall do so then. If you beat me to it let me know how you get on. Mine's a November '06. Same batch?

Mines a November 2007 I'd think its not the same batch.

Mine was replaced

My dealer replaced spoke wheel under warranty due to poor finish (bike only 4 months old) Now having about 15 fastenings and all disk bolts replaced due to bad corrosion. Might have to pay for bolts replacement unfortunately!

Oh, we have wheel corrosion on 2007 model bikes now do we.
Just when you think these wrecks cant get any worse.............
