GSA screen extender

Am considering a screen extension for the GSA. I'm 6'4" and am missing riding with visor open at times.

Had a TT one on my hex head GSA.

Don't want something which is perm fit and would rather something without huge amounts of metal work. Wunderlich seem todo various solutions - any preferences / why you picked what you did / happy with it?

I installed a MRA Vario that just clamps to the top of the screen. Unfortunately it doesn't really work for me and im still getting a lot of really bad buffeting? I also fitted a larger WRS screen and the Vario but the buffeting is still bad. I have bought another screen that has more of an upright curve at the top which Im hoping may deflect some of the bad air away from my face. Will be installing that next week. If it works then I'll sell the MRA Vario. I think I still have the box and all the bits. You can either clamp it to the screen or drill the screen for a permanent fix. Its all fully adjustable, up, down, in, out. Im 6'3 and find that the standard GSA screen just didn't work on my 2014 WC. What I did find is if I increased my height by about 3 inches off the seat then I hit a perfect bubble of completely clean silent air? Just hoping that the new screen works...will find out next week.

Touratech

The Touratech clip on is marvellous, making a massive difference.
It's not pretty, but after a while you don't even notice it.

I am 6´2" & the Wunderlich clip-on is simply fantastic.
It is not even fully extended, so it won´t be a problem to adjust it to suit your height.
I had terrible buffeting without it & there was no way i could ride with an open visor (sometimes it would even slam shut). Now, it is EXACTLY the way i like with zero disturbance or helmet-shake whether the visor is open or closed.

I have also had MRA products on other bikes and have had very good experiences too. But for my GSA, the Wunderlich seemed (to me) the sturdiest with alot of adjustment to suit 4 season riding.

I highly recommend this product!

Eisen, there's what appears to be a brace to your GSA screen on the lhs (visible below the GPS lock). If that is a brace, is it a OEM for the GSA or farkle?

I've been really impressed with my Puig screen extender which they rather oddly call 'Multiregulable Visor ClipOn': http://www.puigusa.com/tuning-bikes...regulable-visor-clip-on/c171en/f1-r316-m4579/

I run mine at the same height as the screen, but the extra depth deflects the wind over me, I'm 6ft and ride with a peaked lid and was amazed at the difference. I ride 150miles each day commuting on B roads and motorways and can honestly say its made a huge difference. No more aching neck from peak grabbing wind, no turbulence when following vans, and easily ride visor up unto 60, assuming you want to risk the bug in eye scenario

I also use a set of Cymark Screen braces, which stops the waggly screen which the GSA LC appears to suffer from. My screen is standard OEM.
