:nenau can anyone tell me about the 10mm nuts on the back of the screw adjuster on the gsa screen I've just got nuts on each side where the slides are on the inside, should there be anything else there, it doesn't seem very 'engineered' not even a washer on each.also how do you undo the big plastic knob without a socket on the inside,it seems to me something is missing,I bought the bike secondhand and its a 2010 any help please:thumb:thumb

The nuts don't do much apart from stop the adjuster falling out when loosened I think, try unscrewing the adjusters and you'll see it just loosens the assembly so you can move the screen up or down on the grooves

You don't need to touch the nuts :thumb

The inner top hat nuts have flats that fit into the sliding slots on the screen support frame. Use some anti seize paste on adjuster threads. Stops them rusting and allows you to get it apart next time. The plastic seats are handed to make sure they are right when you refit the screen.
