GSA12 90 miles 2 days old on e bay!!

In feb 2000 a brand new silver 1150 with ABS etc was hard to come buy, if you were prepared to wait a few months then it would cost around £9.5k

Mine was sourced in Berlin from a guy who bought it new then sadly had a stroke:( . I ended up with a 'brand new' bike zero miles/km for £7k cash.:)

So it's all too easy to make assumptions why sometimes bikes are cheap.

he didn't seem to like the brakes on the first one.

he doesn't seem to like the second one either and 82 miles is hardly a warm up never mind a decent evaluation.

If he's cocked up and bought an 07 and can't afford to keep it, or has changed his mind and would have lost his deposit then why not say so, but to say "genuine reason but don't ask" is just asking to be called a w*nker.

As for his Scottish Adventure, it looked great fun and for most soft southern pansies heading north of Derby is more of an adventure than they can cope with.

Mate of mine from London wants to join me on the Scottish leg of the Round the Bend Tour but doesn't fancy the 400 mile trip North. We're doing 1000 miles in 19 hours FFS! He's even getting free digs!

Adventureman has set himself up for a bit of slagging but sounds like he couldn't take it unlike the rest of us Tossers.

That's probably got more top do with the type of mates you have in London ( :ymca ) than the fact they come from London. I have just worked out what the 'Round the Bend' tour must be be about.
