I'm looking at the possibility of hiring a bike (doesn't have to be a Gs or even a BMW for that matter) for a few days when I'm gonna be in the bay area. Does anyone know of motorbike hire services in that part of the world? I don't plan to bring helmet/jacket/gloves/pants/boots so would need to hire everything.

Thanks in advance,

If you want a two-wheeled traction engine then Eagle Rider seems to be the default choice. However, if you want a GS then Dubbelju is the place to go......

Ride Skyline Blvd, probably from the Saratoga end, stop at Alice's Restaurant for lunch. Head over the Golden Gate and up Hwy One.........lucky man. :green gri

Sorry can't reccomend a hire company but depending on how much time you have to ride I would suggest heading south. The US1 to Hurst Castle is an great piece of road.

I prefer North to the 101 junction around Eureka, nice days ride and prettier.

9 to Santa Cruz is an awesome road with a nice Vista point where bikers meet.
Mt Hamilton road gives amazing view over whole bay area.
