GSPD Front Mudguard Reinforcement

Looking for the aluminum reinforcement plate for the front mudguard for my restoration. Not an easy bit to find any longer.

Yup… but you never know… always worth putting it out there

The imprints top left are the BMW logo, the part number, I guess, and the logo for the Italian accessory company, Stilmotor. They make aftermarket plastics rather like Acerbis etc. I’ve looked on their website and although they still list a mudguard bracket or two , not this one.

Any half decent engineering shop should be able to make that i would have thought?

I saw one for sale back in December on eBay, $110 USD… I thought it was a crazy price and didn’t pursue… kicking myself now

Have you tried Motorworks and Sherlocks?

I reinforced the area underneath the mudguard around the screws and about 5 inches forward and back with 3 layers of fiberglass, painted white. Withstood sandraiders last year.
