For the Info of my Fellow GS'ers I recently had a major coming together and a serious moment of clarity on the above Strech of road on my 4 day old Brand new GSA with the lug tyres......
The road has been resurfaced in the last 6 weeks... A road i have ridden all my legal and illeagal riding life.... The surface is the new Bitumin Tarmac anti spray surface... However due to the HGV Quarry traffic the surface has bonded, right on the riding line...
Consequence...Over £8000 worth of damage..Ouchhh!!!!
Any one had a similar experience or know anyone I'd be interested
Take it easy, as The Eagles might say, Riding down the rode almost loing my load.....
Bigbishy
Thats what I'm hearing in my head at the moment, Riding down the road tryin to loosen my load oooooppss, what the F*#k was couldn't even finish the sentence..... Wheels would be for sale bikes at Rydale, Cardiff...
Waitin for the Assessor to sting me with a Settlement.....
Then gonna get me some new wheels..
Bigbishy...
Thanx PWC...
Lookin forward to the Insurance cheque.......
So i can get back onto a bike restore a bit of confidence...
Now in two minds however whether to stay with GSA or go for a 1200GS....
I know there's plenty out there would say nice to have the option
But I'm a Libran and thats worse than a woman window shoppin for a pair of sling backs.....
Not that I'd know much about that of course......
Bit of feed back from any owners would be nice......
Cheers
Bigbishy..
By the way GSA do bouce really well despite their deceptive size
Well I'd go for a 1200 cos it's lighter, smoother and faster Handles superbly and is very forgiving (I ride like a camel ask anyone whose had to follow me)
Buy one with spoke wheels and swap them for my alloys
