Had a ride up to the borders today 02.07.10

Decided to head up to the borders today,

from home via Alston, Haltwhistle and Greenhead to Langholm, Eskdalemuir, St Marys Loch, Selkirk, Hawick, Keilder, Hexham and home.

260+mls in lovely sunshine.

Snuck in the back way to avoid ze customs !

Spotted this beside the road to St Marys loch, a cut off set of leathers and bits of a bike :?

Having a spot of lunch at St Marys loch and this little lot turned up (Rileys).

Down to Selkirk, Hawick and on to........decisions, decisions

Some great roads. I go that way every time I travel from Edinburgh down to Langholm. I think I'd get a bit frustrated doing some of it on a DRZ though.....

That looks suspiciously like someone's chopped up that green RM to make a pickup....
