I had my GS Dynoed at local, BMW, Yamaha, Husqvarna Dealer today. It's an 05. It has a Remus Header and an Akraprovic can, 39,000 km on it and was last tuned up a couple of years back.

It Dynoed at 84 hp. He said if I had a street tire on it, instead of a worn Knobbie. I would of got 10 more hp. The Dyno Guy really liked the HP curve. He said it really pulls all the way through and that I could shift at 7,000 rpm. I shift at 4,000, which he said was fine.

The Dyno Guy and the Dealer Service Manager also said that the rule of thumb is that the Dyno on the Back Tire is 10% less than what the Manufacture says the HP is.

The Dyno was free. The Dealer was having a sale and there was a Free lunch too.

It was the only 1200 to get Dynoed, so the service and sales guys were all happy when I said sure, when they asked me if I wanted it dynoed.

I'm sure a road tyre on the front would have given you an extra 5 bhp as well! ;)
