Has your TomTom Rider MkI been returned to TomTom a couple or more times to have problems fixed e.g. SD card loosing contact, GPS unit loosing contact with the mount and so on?
If so.......write a polite but firm letter to TomTom pointing out the inconvenience of having lost the use of your TomTom x times amounting to x days without it and suggest that they may like to 'compensate' or as a 'gesture of goodwill' give you a good discount on the MkII TomTom Rider
Mate of mine did this and..................a letter turned up some time later asking for his TomTom unit back again, he obliged and shortly thereafter recieved a FREE TomTom MkII
