Should be doing rally in a few weeks.Does anyone know if the route will be marshalled or is it "pace notes" as per the Cambrian a while back. ????????

Just follow the arrows all the way round 
It is marshalled, usually 3 laps of 40 miles. Day light time is the issue on this one. Quite easy with a good motocross test.
Seems to be wet and windy and cold each year I have entered.
Returned to the paddock in the dark last year after fixing 2 other competitors chains, at the request of Garaint Jones.

Hafren tips
This will be only my 2nd off road event.
I entered a H/h this time last year on a newly acquired DRZe400.I jumped in at the deep end, big style, having never ever done anything like it before, altho id always fancied it.I had mechanical trouble during the "race", and its taken while now not only to get the bike in top shape again but also for me to forget the pain/shock it caused me at the time.Friends who did the same event said it WAS hard, and it wasnt the best event to get an introduction to enduro-ing in !!!!!
Im lead to believe the Hafren is a bit more up my street (Ie, i may get out if 2nd gear, and its less technical),
Any tips about perhaps the tech side of riding these events.Im never one to be put off, but another "episode" like last time????????????????????????????????????????????????

Just a warning, the noise regulations are going to be strict at the hafren, a standard DRZ400E will probably not pass scrutineering. I have that straight from the horses mouth, as it were, as a friend of mine is also entering on a DRZ and has had to buy a noise reducing baffle.

Where would I get one of those baffles from, and how can I check the noise of my own DRZ ?. Will my MOT station have a noise meter ???
