On my way back from the Llyn Brianne Resevoir, where I watched red kites soaring above the valley ( don't we live in a fabulous country) , I spotted a biker whose bike appeared to have broken down. I always stop for bikers, so I pulled over and put the hazard warning indicators on. The guy looked up and I immediately recognised him as Dave Myers (hairy bikers on TV). Apparently the Guzzi had blown a fuse, which he quickly mended. I have to say, what a nice, normal guy. He was just as he was on TV, and did'nt get all uptight about having his picture taken with me. Good luck Dave, I hope you get back to Morecombe Bay ,or wherever you were going without any more trouble.(PS. If you spot a black Moto Guzzi California by the side of the road, he needs a 15 amp fuse)

didn't he cook you a meal to say thanks?
If I had had Mojo's portable stove I might have been tempted. He was on his way back from Italy, via the festival at Hay on Wye, so I guess he would'nt have been short on ideas. I did'nt have to help actually- nice to see Dave can fix them as well as ride.
